I HAVE BABIES

I’m having kids!

No, I’m not actually having kids. It’d be weird. ANYWAY.

I’ve been busy lately. So… yeah, nothing good to post. I’ve been watching “Community” for a while. It’s a good show.

I’ll… have something at some point. Not now.

OMFG PREGNANT

So… in the past two years, I know three people from high school who’ve become pregnant.

I think this, more than anything else, is the greatest indication that I’m getting old. That, and find out actors that I’ve known die.

Truth be told, I’m not sure how I’m supposed to take this sort of information. They’re not people I knew particularly well, but I know their names, I know their faces, and… it’s just weird, because it’s like, HOLY SHIT YOUR BABYMAKER MAKES BABIES.

In the back of my head, I always knew that people had kids. I just never thought that people my age had kids. Oh well.

… So… yep. That’s about it.

Having Children, the Future

I used to not want to have kids. I didn’t want to have to be responsible for another person… for another life. I only wanted to have to worry about myself, and maybe a few other people who were close to me. The bonds that hold people together are very strong, but the bond that holds a father to his child are unbreakable. No matter what, a father will never cease to be a father. I once thought I’d be a bad father because I’m impatient, because I don’t deal with children well, and I don’t like getting dirty.

Now, though, I’m less worried. I don’t think I’d be scared to be a father. I think I’d be okay taking care of a child. I don’t think anyone is ever really prepared… I guess it’s just something you pick up over time.

Anyway, it doesn’t matter because I’m not having a kid anytime soon anyway…

You thought my life turned into “Knocked Up”, didn’t you? Well, it didn’t. ^_^

Anyway… so… yeah, I’ve been thinking about what I’m going to do for the future. I’ve only got about 2 and a half years of college left. After that, I either have to get a job or, hopefully, go to grad school. I’m still trying to figure it out.

On an entirely separate note, you should watch “Friday Night Lights”. The new season is awesome.
